How to Make a Mini Tesla Coil at Home! ⚡ DIY Wireless Electricity | class 12 physics project
In this video, we debunk the classic “glowing bulb without wires” trick and show you the real physics behind it: Nikola Tesla’s Wireless Energy Transfer!
Watch the full step-by-step tutorial on how to build your own Mini Tesla Coil at home using simple electronic components. We explain the entire circuit diagram, how to wind the primary and secondary coils, and the exact physics of how high-frequency alternating current creates an electromagnetic field strong enough to ionize a bulb from a distance!
🛠️ Components Required for this DIY Tesla Coil:
9V Batteries (x2 for stable power)
2N2222 Transistor
22k Ohm Resistor
LED (for circuit testing)
Breadboard & Connecting Wires
Enamelled Copper Wire (27-30 AWG for secondary coil)
Thick Copper Wire (for primary coil)
PVC Pipe (as the core)
Aluminum Foil Sphere (Top Load)
Switch
📚 The Physics Behind It (Class 12 EMI):
When a high-frequency alternating current flows through the primary coil, it induces a massive voltage in the secondary coil via Electromagnetic Induction. This high voltage generates a strong, high-frequency electromagnetic field around the top load. When a fluorescent or neon bulb is brought into this field, the gas inside gets ionized and electrons are excited, causing the bulb to glow—no wires attached! 🤯
